We find children's entertainers for parties across Rugby, Bilton, Hillmorton and Dunchurch. Drop us your details and you'll normally get an answer from one of the team the same day. There's no obligation and no pushy follow-up.
Soft play package or hall party
The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Centre runs its own soft play birthday parties with food included. It's easy and the kids burn off energy, but it's a set format and everyone's off doing their own thing. For under-fives, the soft play side can also feel a bit overwhelming.
A hall party with an entertainer is more shared. All the children watch the same show, play the same games and the birthday child gets their moment in front of everyone.
Neither is wrong. It mostly comes down to age and how many you're inviting.
Rugby halls families use
Overslade Community Centre has a main hall with a washable floor, which the centre itself says suits children's parties. It opens onto the car park and a back garden. It's the sort of practical detail you appreciate after the juice gets spilled.
Hibbert's, the parish hall in the grounds of St Marie's on Dunchurch Road, takes family parties and has a kitchen. Handy if you're doing your own food.
Bilton, Hillmorton and Dunchurch have village and church halls too, if you'd rather stay close to home. Ring round a few, as weekend availability changes week to week.
Choosing a children's entertainer in Rugby
Think about age first. Under-fives want a gentle, simple show. Six to eight year olds want noise, games and prizes. Older ones want magic that genuinely fools them.
Our kids party magician page goes into more detail on what a show usually includes. If you're comparing costs, the price guide explains what affects a quote. And if you can't decide, we're always happy to talk it through by email first.
Numbers matter too. A soft play package often caps how many children you can invite, while a hall can usually hold a whole class plus siblings, so think about who you really want there.
Getting a price
Send the date, start time, hall and number of children via the quote form. We'll come back with options and a price, and you choose. A rough idea of numbers is fine if invites haven't gone out yet.
There's no deposit to see a quote. Have a think, ask questions, then decide. If a different date would give you more choice, we'll say so.
If you've got a few venues in mind but haven't booked one yet, mention them. We can check who's free across a couple of dates while you decide.
