Kids' parties in Daventry

Children's entertainer Daventry and kids party magician bookings

Daventry and the villages around it are full of good-value party halls. Find the right children's entertainer Daventry kids will love and you barely have to lift a finger on the day.

  • Parties for ages 2 to 12
  • Reply from a real person, usually the same day
  • Entertainers across the UK

We line up kids party magicians and entertainers for parties in Daventry, Long Buckby, Braunston and beyond. One short form and you'll usually hear back the same day.

Places to hold the party

Daventry Community Centre on Ashby Road can be hired for parties. You just email or ring them with your preferred dates and times, and they'll tell you what's free.

The Band Hall on Daneholme Close is another local option, with its own parking. Parents have used it for first birthdays and found it plenty roomy. Check the kitchen too if you're planning hot food for the grown-ups.

Both are a short hop from most of the town's estates, which keeps the school run of party guests nice and easy. Whichever you choose, check if you can get in half an hour early to set up. Most halls are happy to arrange that if you ask when booking.

Village halls with small chairs

Norton Village Hall, a couple of miles out, has children's chairs as well as adult ones. It sounds like a tiny detail. But if you're feeding twenty five-year-olds, it makes tea time a lot easier. Ask the hall how many children's chairs they actually have, though, as numbers vary.

Badby, Braunston and Long Buckby all have halls worth a look as well. Rates tend to be modest and the car parks are rarely a battle.

Do ask about heating in winter, as some older village halls take a while to warm up. A cold hall makes for fidgety kids, so getting the heating on early really helps.

How a kids party magician in Daventry fills two hours

Most of our entertainers open with games to warm everyone up, then do the main magic show. After a food break, there's often more games, music and prizes, and balloon modelling at the end.

It's flexible though. If you only want a show while the kids are at their best, we can quote for that. Shorter shows suit toddlers and smaller groups especially well.

Some parents prefer the show after food, when everyone's sat down anyway. Your entertainer will happily go with whatever suits.

Before you book anyone

Ask about DBS checks and public liability insurance, and check what space and power the entertainer needs. Fair questions for any children's entertainer. Asking also tells you a lot about how organised they are.

We'll confirm all of that for your booking. There's more in our FAQ, and the quote form is the quickest way to check your date.

And ask what happens if they're ill on the day. We'll talk you through how cover works for your booking, which is one of the advantages of booking through an agency.

How booking works

  1. Tell us about the party

Fill in one short form with the date, place, the child's age and how many are coming. It takes a couple of minutes.

  2. We find who's free

A real person checks which entertainers suit your party and can make your date, then replies, usually the same day, with a price.

  3. You decide

Have a think and ask us anything. There's no obligation, and nothing's booked until you say yes.

We booked Matthew through Fine Entertainments having had no contact with either of them before but we needn't have worried. Fine Entertainments made the booking process simple and painless and were easy to communicate with and as for Matthew, he was fantastic. We are a local charity and had booked him to entertain a group of dementia sufferers and their…

Usually yes, for music. Most halls have one at the front. If you're not sure, mention it and we'll check.

What's the cost for a Daventry party?

For Daventry and the villages it's typically £250 to £450 for a party show, depending on date, length, location and what's included.
