Behind Party Magicians is Fine Entertainments Ltd, a Corby agency. We find entertainers across Yorkshire and reply with real availability, usually on the same day.
Leisure centre parties in Leeds
Active Leeds runs children's parties at several of its centres. Holt Park Active and Pudsey both do bouncy castle parties, Armley has team games and inflatables, and Kirkstall does gymnastics parties for younger children.
They're good fun and well organised. The one gap is entertainment for the food and cake part, so some parents book a hall party with a show on a different weekend, or keep the leisure centre party for school friends and do a smaller family party at home with an entertainer.
There's nothing wrong with doing both, of course. Plenty of children have two celebrations in a year once you count family and friends separately.
How a kids party magician in Leeds runs the afternoon
There's no fixed script, but most shows we arrange follow a rhythm. A burst of magic to grab attention, some party games to let off steam, a pause for food, then a second half with the biggest tricks and a special moment for the birthday child.
Many entertainers also do balloon modelling. For six and seven year olds that's often the bit they talk about most on the way home.
A typical show runs for an hour or two depending on what you book. For a younger crowd, shorter often works better, and we'll suggest what suits.
Home parties across the city
From back-to-backs in Headingley to newer estates in Garforth, living rooms vary a lot. A space roughly the size of a rug for the entertainer, plus floor room for the children to sit, covers most shows.
If the weather looks kind, a garden can work in summer. Just keep a room ready inside in case it turns.
Have a look at our guide for 6 to 8 year olds if that's the age you're planning for. It covers the sort of shows that suit that lively in-between age.

Send us the date, venue postcode and how many children are coming using the quote form. You'll hear who's available and what it costs. You don't pay anything until you've said yes.
Weekends around Christmas, Easter and the summer get busiest, so the sooner we know your date the more choice you'll have. It costs nothing to ask.
If you'd like a feel for prices first, our guide on what a children's entertainer costs explains what changes the figure.
