Our kids party magicians cover Bedford, Kempston and the villages around. Fill in one form and a person (not a bot) gets back to you, normally that same day.
Bedford halls that welcome children's parties
Bedford Borough Council lists several community centres that can be hired for children's parties. Scott Hall on Barford Avenue has a good-sized main hall and says it can take a bouncy castle.
Cauldwell Community Centre on Althorpe Street also takes children's parties and has a small play area next to the car park, which is useful for letting off steam before the show. Do ask about parking, as spaces near some centres are limited on busy weekends.
The Jubilation Centre on Moulton Avenue has a main hall and a smaller one, so it can work for a modest party as well as a bigger crowd. Most of these centres are booked directly with the centre itself, so ring or email them for current availability and any rules about decorations or food.
One show, several ages
The trick with mixed ages is layering. Bright, silly moments for the little ones, and sneakier magic that the older kids (and the dads at the back) can puzzle over.
Tell us the age range when you enquire. It honestly changes who we'd recommend, because some entertainers are brilliant with toddlers and others really shine with ten-year-olds.
Mixed ages also means mixed attention spans. Expect the toddlers to wander off now and then, and that's fine. The entertainer will keep the show going for everyone else and pull them back in with something daft.
Why parents book a kids party magician in Bedford
Mainly so they can stop being the entertainment. Once the show starts, you're free to sort the food, chat to other parents and take photos.
Most of our entertainers also bring games, music and prizes, and many do balloon modelling too. So the whole party has a shape, not just one 30 minute slot in the middle. You'll know roughly how the afternoon will go before anyone arrives.
It also helps with the quieter children. A good entertainer draws them in gently without putting anyone on the spot.
Getting a quote
Tell us the date, time, hall and roughly how many children through the quote form. We'll reply with who's available and a clear price.
If it doesn't suit, just ignore us. We won't chase you, and there's no booking unless you confirm. That's a promise.
Parties in Kempston, Biddenham or out towards Sharnbrook are no trouble either. Just add the village or venue so we can match someone who covers that patch.
