Oakley Vale, Priors Hall, Danesholme or out in Weldon, the process is the same. Send one quick form and we'll reply, usually the same day, with which kids party magicians are free and what it'd cost.
Halls and venues Corby families use
St John's Church Hall on Church Walk in the Old Village describes itself as ideal for children's parties. They can arrange their own bouncy castle or soft play, but outside bouncy castles aren't allowed in, so ask them first.
Corby also has a good spread of community centres, from Beanfield to Kingswood and Oakley Vale, each booked through its own committee. Ring the one nearest you and ask directly whether they take children's parties, because the rules vary from hall to hall.
Book the room before you book anything else. It's the bit with the least wiggle room.
Sport or swim first, then a kids party magician in Corby
Lodge Park Sports Centre runs sports parties with a party room afterwards, and Corby Pool does swim parties on Saturdays. Both are great fun but fairly short, and the hour in the party room can feel a bit flat once the excitement wears off. Pool and sports parties both need booking direct with the centre.
That's where a magician earns their keep. Some parents book the activity and then a compact show at home or in a hall the same day. Just check the venue's own rules before planning anything in their room, as packages like these often come with conditions.
Little ones and big ones
For under-fives, gentle is better. Bubbles, puppets and silly simple tricks. Our toddler party entertainer page explains what that usually looks like.
Older Corby kids want something sharper. More mind-reading, more mystery and a magician who can handle a heckler with a grin. Our 6 to 8 year olds page is a good middle ground if yours is somewhere in between.
Mixed ages at a Corby party, with cousins from three to eleven, are no problem at all. Tell us who's coming and we'll suggest someone who can pitch the show at both ends without losing anyone.
Talk to people down the road
Because we're here, we know how long it takes to get from the Old Village to Priors Hall on a Saturday and which halls have easy parking. Small things, but they help on the day.
When you're ready to check your date, the quote form takes a couple of minutes, and you can always pop us a message if you'd rather just ask a question first.
We also know the area well enough to suggest a hall if you're stuck. No promises on availability, but we'll point you in the right direction.
